My story

Meet beautiful Coco! She was surrendered to the shelter on 7/15 because her person was moving to a place with breed restrictions. Her former owner did note that Coco is house-trained, good with children, and good with cats and other dogs! And the volunteers describe Coco as super sweet, great on leash, calm, and polite when taking treats. This girl is the whole package! If you're looking for a dog who is used to living in a family and who can easily acclimate in a new home please come meet Coco. She is a little sad in the shelter and would love to find a new, forever home soon! Coco is 2 years old and weighs 53 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Coco is waiting patiently in run 805; her ID # is 11943. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
