My story

Future Floof, Orange Cat Hijinks, Curious & Cautious! Zalem loves to chase his mouse toy, batting it around and then jumping up on something to get closer to his prey! He is agile and skilled with his paws. and dribbles all the ball toys around. He’s a soccer pro in training! Zalem has a quiet and gentle nature, and needs time to warm up to people. He hasn’t been at APA! long - he arrived as a result of the recent devastating floods - but he has already opened up, spending more time rubbing on people and sitting at their feet. He might graduate to a lap cat someday; the sky is the limit! But for now, he is happy to chill out in the same room as his humans. He would love to go home with his sister, Znake (184034)! He saw the resident dog and gave a brave hiss from a distance. We think he could develop a mutual respect with a nice dog, given a slow and proper introduction. Zalem likes slow approaches and prefers curling up at your feet to being picked up. His ideal home is quieter, with gentle people to lovingly help him settle in and relax on his own schedule.
