Pet Location: Wayside’s Canine Behavior Center – I’d love to show off all of the cool things I’ve learned at Wayside! Please arrive at the shelter before 4:00pm on our open adoption days to meet me!I’m Enrolled In A Training Program: Yes-I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. I’m still a young guy learning how to navigate the world, which is why I’m currently enrolled in a special training program called LIFT University. It’s helping me build confidence in new situations and work on managing all my youthful energy!When I feel safe and comfortable, my personality really starts to shine. I’ll lean in close for gentle pets and affection, and if I get really excited I might just break out into a full-on case of the zoomies! I love learning new things, especially if there are treats involved (and let’s be real, anything is better when treats are involved!). I’m looking for patient adopters who understand that I need a little time and consistency to feel at home. I do best with a steady routine and having a trusted person by my side brings me so much comfort. I’ll need to meet any dog friends before going home, and I’d do best with kiddos 6 and up.If you’re someone who believes in giving a sweet, eager pup the time and guidance to grow, I’d love to meet you.
