My name is Shaggy. I am a handsome, lovable boy with a great appetite! 'm not really into playing with toys. I just look at my foster mom disdainfully when she waggles something in front of my face or throws an aluminum ball my way. Then I go flop down on the wood floor by the front door. I'm a chill kind of a guy. My foster moms have two little dogs. They don't bother me, but just in case, I avoid a lap if there's a dog next to it. There's a neighbor cat who roams outside and comes over most days for Temptations cat treats. He meows at the door and my foster mom takes the treat outside for him. Well, I told him to stay away. These are my moms and my treats! I'm not allowed to go outside, but I might chase him away if I had a chance.   I do love to lay by the open window on a nice day and watch the birds, rabbits, and squirrels running around the yard or on the bird feeder.   My foster moms feed me twice a day. I'm usually waiting in the kitchen for the feeder to arrive to feed me because I've usually finished all the dry food they leave out for me. I eat a half of a 5.5oz.  can of Friskies wet food in the morning (as early as they'll feed me,) and the other half of the can around 5pm.   I use my high walled litter box (I'm a big boy) a couple times a day. Most days I manage to plant my deposits in the box, but once in a while I drop them outside. I drink my water regularly and leave big amounts of urine for them to clean up every day. By the end of the week I have a heavy bag of litter to deposit in the trash.   I'm not sure if I can live with other cats in the same house. As I said, I'm a pretty chill cat although I can jump up and over many heights and will occasionally zoom down the hall. Anyway, I'm looking for a comfy place to live with a kind human, or more than one, to spend the rest of my life. I love to be petted but not too much. I do love to be brushed but, again, not too much.    Are you the home I'm looking for? Let's give it a try. If we don't get along, these nice people who rescued me from a metal cage in a shelter, would take me back. Ok, thanks for looking at me and reading my story. Shaggy was born approximately June 14, 2022, and his adoption fee is $105. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweet boy at our adoption center this weekend!  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend.
