My story

Original intake 1/29/22Your new pint-sized shadow and professional snuggler! Cosmo is a 5.5-year-old Chihuahua and King Cavalier Spaniel mix with a heart full of love and a perfectly portable 13-pound frame. This sweet little guy absolutely adores people and thrives when he’s near his humans—whether that means curling up next to you on the couch or bouncing around in a playful mood. Cosmo isn’t a fan of leash walks, so he’s hoping for a home with a secure, fenced-in yard where he can safely explore and enjoy the outdoors on his own terms. He gets along just fine with other small dogs, but big dogs aren’t really his vibe—he prefers a gentler crowd. Cosmo wears a belly band in the house, as he occasionally still marks—something that's easily managed and may continue to improve with routine and consistency. Truth be told, Cosmo would be perfectly content as your one and only—he’s all about the one-on-one companionship and would happily soak up all the love and attention for himself. The adoption fee of $250 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
