My story

*** Phoebe is at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***Phoebe #19845: black & white bicolor, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 6/1/24Cats: yesDogs: unknown/possiblyChildren: unknown/probable all ages BACKGROUND: Phoebe was found off a freeway exit by a Good Samaritan who took in the friendly and hungry kitty. She reached out to The Rescue House to ask if we could help her find a happy home.PERSONALITY: Looking for a Velcro kitty? Phoebe’s your girl! Chill, relaxed, and SUPER cuddly, Phoebe needs a family who will let her snuggle up with you all the time: in bed, watching TV on the couch, anywhere you go. She LOVES attention. (If Phoebe could figure out Instagram, she’d be posting selfies every day.) She can be very vocal when she wants attention, but some simple pets and talking back at her is sometimes enough to get her to stop meowing… though really, how cute is it that she meows when she yawns? Phoebe’s a wonderful conversationalist. She loves to play and her favs are balls with attached feathers and wands with “flying” feather attachments for her to chase. She’s not one for the heights, usually preferring ground-level cozy nooks. This dainty girl will sometimes cross her paws and pose all ladylike, but that disappears when she spots anything edible… fooooood!! COMPATIBILITY: Phoebe is comfortable with other cats. We don’t know her thoughts on dogs, though with her easygoing temperament think it’s possible that cat-friendly canines could work out. While we haven’t seen her around children, we suspect she’d be just fine.Are you ready to chillax with Phoebe?
