My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:Aden tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.A volunteer writes: Beautiful Aden's been having a bit of a go of it lately and poked his head out of his den Oscar the Grouch style to tell me as much. It kind of seems like Aden doesn't always know what to do when people want to visit with him. He was brought to us with another cat and each time we say hello we try to reassure him that we're there to visit with him, Aden wraps his tail tighter around himself and his beliefs. There is one thing that brings him out though and it's squeeze ups. Eating from my hand with intermittent glances that instantly communicate for me not to get confused, he absolutely doesn't want to be here, Aden settled in for treats and just kind of settled.
