My story

Animal Profile: Anastasia is a 3 year old, 15 lb spayed female pug mix. She is great with dogs, cats and kids. Anastasia loves to snuggle and is potty trained. She arrived in Seattle from California on 6/22/2025. Foster Update:  Ana is a dainty little darling with a heart as soft as her fur and a growing curiosity about the big, wide world. While she may start off shy, give her a little time (and maybe a sock to steal), and you'll be greeted with joyful tail wags, bunny hops, and the sweetest kisses you’ve ever known. She’s currently expanding her social circle, learning that people outside her inner squad can be pretty fun too! She’s not the type to make instant friends, but once you’re “in,” she’s yours for life. Ana is a respectful roommate to cats (though she definitely needs an escort past them in the hallway—safety first ), and while she’s still figuring out how to play with dogs her size, she’s more than happy to cuddle and groom the big ones like a tiny therapist. Don’t let her dainty demeanor fool you—get this girl near water and she turns into a zoomie-powered race car. She adores trail walks, taking on natural agility obstacles like a champ, and lives for the smells and sights of the woods. But once the walk is done? It’s Netflix and snuggle time. Preferably in your lap. Always your lap. Ana’s still building up confidence and working on solo time, so she’d do best in a home (not an apartment) where someone’s around to support her as she grows. She’s a quiet girl at heart but will give you a polite heads-up if someone’s at the door. She’s crate trained at night, is learning her basic commands (sit, recall, kennel up), and is very food motivated, which makes her a breeze to train. Whether you're hiking a forest trail or just binging your favorite shows, Ana is happiest being wherever you are. She's looking for a forever human who will cherish her gentle heart, continue building her confidence, and treat her like the royalty she was born to be.  Petite, playful, sensitive, and loyal to the core—Ana is ready to love big in her own quiet way. Could that special someone be you? Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernardino in California and arriving to Seattle area foster care via Wiggle Butts transportation on 6/22/25. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.August 1, 2025, 12:25 pm
