My story
If we had a contest for the happiest dog in the shelter Meleys would win it. Her tail never stop wagging and most of the time it went a mile a minute! Meleys is a 5yr old 43lb American pitbull terrier that arrived as a Mesquite Animal Shelter on 7/16 as a stray. She deserves the best! She is so sweet, gentle and well mannered, seeks affection, is friendly and looks up at you with adoring hazel eyes! She’s a real love bug. She did her business in the yard. She did not have a reaction to other dogs. She does have a semi-strong pull on the leash. She cannot tolerate the Texas heat so she would need to be inside with her new family. The bonus is that she is not fussy about what TV programs you watch. She just wants to hang out with you.
