My story

Hi! I'm Shuri! I'm an approximately 7 week old, female, Domestic Short Haired kitten. I was brought to the shelter when I was only a few days old and was very sick. RAC staff nursed me back to health and I am stronger than ever! I am currently battling a case of ringworm and will be on medication for approximately 21 days. The treatment will be complete on 7/22/25. I am on canned and dry kitten food and using the litter box well. RAC staff will be in touch with approved applicants to schedule a meet and greet. My adoption fee is $75 which includes my spay, rabies vaccine, microchip, 1st FVRCP booster, and dewormer. I will be required to return to RAC on Wednesday, 8/27/25. This date is non-negotiable and is a part of the adoption contract.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
