My story

Those pointy ears, that big goofy grin—Jinx is ready to meet you! Jinx is a perfectly playful pup who loves to chase toys, romp around the yard, and then curl up beside you like the oversized lap dog he believes he is. Jinx is super treat-motivated (chicken, please, hold the turkey!) and already knows sit, shake, and down! He`d love a family that can continue his training and build on his leash manners and polite play. Jinx loves to chew, so plenty of durable chew toys is a must-have, plus, they`re a great way to keep him entertained! He enjoys meeting new people and has gotten along well with other dogs, though we always recommend a dog-to-dog meet and greet if you already have a pup at home to ensure compatibility. With an active family who can give him good outlets for his energy, consistent guidance, and lots of love, Jinx is ready to become his best self! We do encourage crate training and can provide a crate for when you are away and overnight. Come in to meet him today!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the “shelter information” box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
