  Meet Phantom – The Gentle Soul with a Golden Heart (Just in Black)   This stunning boy named Phantom mysteriously wandered into a kind-hearted neighborhood in small-town Tennessee, and it’s hard to believe no one came searching for him. But maybe that’s because fate was guiding him toward a better, brighter future—maybe with you.   Phantom is believed to be around 18 months old and weighs a healthy 53 pounds. If you know Flat-Coated Retrievers, you know they’re basically Golden Retrievers in a sleek black coat—known for their loving, playful, and easygoing temperaments. Phantom is no exception. He’s a gentle, affectionate soul who’s already showing how well-mannered and adaptable he is.   Great with other dogs Loves children Shows all the signs of being cat-friendly Kind around chickens and livestock Learning house manners quickly Walks like a pro on a leash    Phantom has no microchip and wasn’t neutered when found—but he’s scheduled for neuter on 7/16, and then he’ll be even more ready to join a forever home that’s ready to love him fullyA fenced yard would be ideal for this happy-go-lucky guy, as he loves to explore and stretch his legs. But more than anything, Phantom just wants to be part of a family—included, cherished, and given the chance to shine like we know he can.   He’s more than just a pretty face.
