My story

***Nessie will be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ on Friday, July 18th. An application for his adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Nessie and/or our adoption policy should be addressed to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue's number.***   Nessie, her mother and four siblings were found as strays. The woman who found them decided to keep the mom and have already scheduled her to be spayed. The pups were approximately 6 weeks old at the time.   The pups, labeled as the "N" litter, all seem to be in good health. Each has adjusted very well to their new environment and life away from their mom, becoming more and more socialized towards people with every passing day. They all have picked up on new routines rather quickly and are already displaying signs of being very friendly, affectionate and playful. With proper training, each of the pups in this litter will grow to become a treasured family member.   Nessie has now received 2 of 3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines, with the third round due on August 1, 2025. She's also been de-wormed at proper intervals, treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Nessie's adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches 6 months old and provide verification of such to SoCo Rescue.
