Meet Cheshire! Cheshire may not grin like his namesake, but he’ll warm your heart just the same. This mild-mannered, sweet, and affectionate gentleman is the definition of a lap dog.At 10 years old, Cheshire is all about the simple joys—snuggling close, crawling into your lap, and just being near his people. He’s gentle, calm, and would make a perfect companion for a peaceful home where he can relax and feel loved.If you're looking for a loyal friend to share the quiet moments, Cheshire is your guy. IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
