My story

Meet Maverick, a brave and resilient 12-week-old kitten with a heart as big as his purr. Found homeless in southern Illinois with a severely injured back leg, Maverick was rushed to our vet team, who quickly stepped in to give him the care he desperately needed. His injured leg was amputated, but that hasn’t slowed him down one bit—Maverick has bounced back with incredible spirit and is now thriving. Playful, affectionate, and full of kitten curiosity, he doesn’t let anything hold him back. Maverick is a shining example of how strong and adaptable animals can be, and he’s now ready for a forever home where he’ll be loved and cherished for the amazing little fighter he is. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL! The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
