My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Meet Venti, a tiny bundle of courage wrapped in fur. This adventurous kitten was discovered on a busy freeway, alone and frightened—but fiercely resilient. Rescued just in time, she has since blossomed into a sweet, playful companion and what truly sets her apart wasn’t just her resilience—it was the perfect little heart-shaped mark nestled on her soft, tabby coat. A symbol of the love she was waiting to give. She’s around 14 weeks old, sweet as a spoonful of honey, and already mastering the art of cuddling. Venti is playful, affectionate, and curious about everything from sunbeams to shoelaces. She purrs like a motor and melts into your arms like butter on toast. She would thrive in a home that appreciates her survivor spirit and gives her plenty of love and cozy spots to nap.
