My story

Zeus — affectionately known as Rocky — is a 2-year-old Siberian Husky whose strength, presence, and calm confidence have earned him his mythological nickname. With the poise of a leader and the heart of a companion, Zeus walks tall and proud on his daily 2-mile walks (twice a day, no less!), greeting neighbors with a howl and a smile. And yes, he walks his human using a hands-free leash like the dignified king he is. Zeus is house-trained, great with other dogs and children, and respectfully curious around cats — he’ll look but won’t chase. His gentle nature shines both at home and on walks, where he’ll sit on command and greet passersby with a noble nod. When it’s time to head back home, he may give a little dramatic flair — flopping down and rolling over, hoping for just a few more minutes of adventure. He absolutely loves car rides and will hop in eagerly, ready to see where the road takes him. Whether it’s a short errand or a weekend getaway, Zeus is the perfect co-pilot — alert, well-behaved, and content to be by your side with the wind in his fur. He has his preferences: hardwood floors over blankets, quiet moments over chaos, and playtime when the family’s around. When he’s happy, he rolls around on the carpet in pure joy. When he needs to go outside, he’ll nudge you politely — and when he sees the harness come out, expect some adorable antics: bowing, rolling, even covering his eyes with his paws as if to say, “You caught me!” Zeus would thrive in a home with an active pre-teen or teen who enjoys outdoor fun, running, playing ball, or just snuggling up in bed. He loves hide-and-seek in the backyard, romping like a wild horse before dramatically collapsing when found — his way of saying, "You win!" If you're seeking a loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining companion who will walk beside you (sometimes literally leading the way), Zeus is ready to meet you. This boy is looking for a long-term relationship filled with patience, laughter, and shared adventures.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rocky, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
