My story

Meet Usher!Despite his name, Usher is anything but smooth. This four month old pup is playful, goofy, and as clumsy as they come.Usher’s two favorite things are swimming and kids, followed closely by toys and sticks. He also loves playing with his canine foster siblings. The resident cat is a little too much fun to chase, but with consistent training and a cat that lays down the law, he could probably learn to coexist with a feline sibling.Usher is crate trained, house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is learning basic commands. He’s smart, eager to please, and only distracted by the swimming pool. He sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep.Usher loves meeting and playing with other dogs, but with an active family and toys, he’d be fine as an only dog. He loves going on adventures, recently visiting his human foster sister at work before settling in on the patio of a coffee shop.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
