Bearington 'Bear'

My story

Bearington Bear is a 3-year-old, 10-pound Yorkie mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. He came to CAMO Rescue as an owner surrender when his family could no longer care for him. When he first arrived, Bearington was incredibly fearful and hesitant to be handled—but with time, patience, and gentle care, his true personality has blossomed. Now that he’s feeling safe, Bearington is a total lovebug. Once he trusts you, he becomes completely devoted—expect lots of kisses and a pup who will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Bearington is doing wonderfully with his potty and leash training. While he’ll need a little time to adjust to his new family’s routine, he’s already on the right path and should transition smoothly. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those with a similar activity level, and has shown no behavioral issues with them. While he hasn’t been cat-tested at CAMO, his previous family reported that he did just fine with feline friends. Because of his initial fearfulness and sensitivity in new environments, Bearington would do best in an adult-only home or one with older, respectful children who can give him the space and understanding he needs as he settles in. Adoption fee is: $400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our small dogs in homes with larger or Bully breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
