ALL ABOUT ME Name: Woojoo Age: 2 yrs old (Born Jul 14th 2023) Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Jindo mix Colour: Brown & White Weight: 9kg / 20lb Microchipped: Yes MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Woojoo. I’m not really sure how we ended up there, but my mom, my siblings, and I found ourselves at a crowded city pound. Things were tough, and because there just wasn’t enough space, we were placed on the euthanasia list. It was a really scary time. But just when it felt like all hope was lost, some warm-hearted rescuers stepped in. They saw us — and gave us a second chance at life. Thanks to them, I’m here today, safe and hopeful, ready to find a forever home where I’ll finally get to feel what love and security truly mean. MY HEALTH - Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) - I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues. MY PERSONALITY My name is Woojoo, which means “space” in Korean — isn’t that a lovely name? I like to think it’s a sign of something bigger, because I just know that once I find my forever family, I’ll become your whole universe. I’m a gentle soul with a shy heart, so I may need a little time to feel safe and settle in. But once I do, I’ll be right by your side, following you wherever you go, ready to be your most loyal and loving companion. Offer me a few tasty treats and a little space to explore at my own pace, and you’ll see me start to open up. I have a quiet, kind nature and get along easily with other dogs — I enjoy their company and find comfort in having furry friends around. With a little patience and a lot of love, I know I’ll shine bright in your life, just like my name. MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m the kind of pup who likes to take things slow — I don’t enjoy being touched right away and need a little time to feel safe in new environments. But offer me some tasty treats and a bit of patience, and I’ll start to come around. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll gladly accept your pets and affection — I might even roll over to show you my belly as a sign of trust. You can also pick me up gently without any fuss. I can be a little reserved and don’t always feel the need to greet new people right away. If someone unfamiliar enters the home, I might bark at first, but after a quick hello, I settle down nicely. I’m not one to guard my food — I feel no need to compete or protect it from people. I’m just looking for a calm, understanding home where I can build trust at my own pace and feel safe being myself. With Dogs: I’m easygoing and calm around other dogs. I enjoy meeting new canine friends and get along well with dogs of all sizes. While I may not jump into play right away, I like to say a polite hello and take my time to warm up. I have a peaceful nature, so if another dog is being a bit too pushy or overly energetic, I won’t make a fuss — I simply walk away and mind my own business. I prefer harmony over drama! I also don’t guard my food around other dogs and am happy to share space respectfully. With Cats: I’ve been observed to be curious around cats — I like to watch them with interest, but my focus is easily redirected, and I respond well to my handler’s guidance. With slow, thoughtful introductions and a calm environment, I think I could learn to live peacefully alongside a feline friend. ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level — I love being outside, taking in all the new sights and smells at my own gentle pace. Exploring the outdoors is one of my favorite ways to satisfy my curiosity in a calm and peaceful way. Once I’m back home, I’m perfectly content to curl up in a cozy spot and enjoy some quiet time. I’m happiest with a nice balance of light activity and restful moments — a little adventure, followed by some well-earned relaxation. TRAINING & HABITS I do my best to follow my handler’s lead and enjoy walking by their side, though sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me — if I spot something exciting, I might give a little pull to check it out! I’m a gentle soul and don’t guard my food around people or other dogs — I’m happy to share and keep the peace. I’ve also learned how to rest quietly in my kennel, and I’m doing great with my potty habits — I’m comfortable going both indoors and outdoors. I’m still learning, but I try really hard to be a good pup every day, and with a little guidance, I know I’ll keep growing into the best version of myself. MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: - A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. - A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. - A family that can shower me with love and attention. - A family who will gently guide me with love and patience, helping me grow into the happy, confident pup I’m meant to be. SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet pup searching for my forever home and loving family. My past may have been a little rough, but I don’t let it define me — I’ve got a gentle heart and a lot of love to give. The volunteers and staff always tell me how calm and peaceful I am, especially around other dogs. Even when other pups bark at me, I stay relaxed and unbothered — I prefer keeping the peace over causing a fuss. It doesn’t take long for me to form a bond once I feel safe. One kind volunteer earned my trust in just about an hour, and soon I was happily accepting pets, leaning in for cuddles, and even giving kisses! I just need a little time and patience when meeting new people — I like to protect my space and body at first, but who doesn’t? Once I’ve had a moment to observe and feel comfortable, I’m all about the love. I might bark to let you know something’s new or unfamiliar, but once I’ve had a chance to assess the situation, I settle down quickly. I’m just trying to be cautious and aware — all part of being the thoughtful pup I am. For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Woojoo’s Playlist ##2459229##
