My story

Carbon was just the saddest little guy when he first came to the shelter--hiding under his shelf, he gradually came around to accepting pets and scritches, getting braver every day but still seeming bewildered by the recent changes in his life. Fast forward to foster care, and he`s snuggling happily under the covers with his foster mom, posing confidently for glamour shots, and rolling around on the carpet!While he`s shy at first, in the right circumstances this handsome boy warms up quickly, especially with people who share his calm, gentle temperament. He enjoys old-school cat toys like feather wands; no electronics or noisy gadgets for this guy. He loves being brushed, and he`s partial to wet food over dry. He favors daytime snoozes followed by a bit of nightlife, and he appreciates having a variety of nooks and cubbies to explore and tuck himself away in. Carbon will be so happy to have a forever home, and he`ll make that home so much happier just by being part of it.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process.
