How this pet arrived: Chapito was brought in by their previous owner on 4/6/2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Chapito, a handsome Anatolian Shepherd who has shown both friendly and fearful behaviors while in our care. Chapito may need time and patience to build trust, especially in new environments or around unfamiliar people. Due to his breed, Chapito is an independent and intelligent dog who benefits from structure, consistent routines, and a calm environment. He will thrive in a home with guardians who understand large, guardian-breed dogs and can support him with positive reinforcement training. Due to fearful and handling sensitivity, it is required that Chapito go to a home with no children under 10 years old. Chapito's ideal home will give him the space and time he needs to settle in at his own pace. At SDHS:Chapito has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. Chapito is now ready for his new home!
