My story

#A5701046 Meet Tatar , a 2-year-old Siberian Husky with jaw-dropping wolf-like looks, a perfectly curled floofy tail, and gorgeous eyes that will absolutely steal your heart. He’s got that classic husky energy - smart, active, and always ready for adventure - so if you’re looking for a hiking buddy or a dog to join your running routine, he’s your guy! Tatar loved the pool at the shelter, so he’d thrive with water time - whether it’s at the beach or a backyard kiddie pool. He’s super affectionate and gives just as much love as he gets (prepare for lots of cuddles and leaning in for pets!). Still a young pup at heart, he’s looking for a home ready to guide him through the basics - leash work, obedience, and potty training. Already social with other dogs, he could be the perfect little brother to a dog-friendly household. Come scoop up this darling sweet potato today - Tatar is the one for you!   -2 year old white and grey Siberian Husky -50 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 6/28/25 as an internal transfer from another shelter -stunning wolf like looks, with a perfectly floofy curly Q tail and gorgeous eyes that will absolutely steal your heart -classic husky energy, so needs exercise and activities for both his body and brain! would be an excellent workout or adventure buddy, or a wonderful candidate for more advanced training and obedience classes -super affectionate - will lean in for all the loving, and love on you just as much in return!  -loved, loved, LOVED the pool at the shelter - definitely a water dog that would thrive at the beach or even a kiddie pool set up in the yard -given his young age and energy levels, needs all the puppy basics in terms of training - leash work, basic commands/obedience, and possibly potty training -already very easy going and social with other dogs, so could make a fabulous little brother to other pups you may already have   TATAR’S VIDEO: https://youtube.com/shorts/uKJZrr0RWG4   For more information, contact volunteer Lor at  lor@unitedhopeforanimals.org ------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.July 15, 2025, 7:25 pm
