My story

Meet Captain Floof! Don’t let the name fool you—Captain Floof may have arrived as a shaggy mystery, but beneath all that fluff is a playful, spirited little guy with a heart of gold (and now a fresh haircut!). Found as a stray, he’s clearly no stranger to adventure, but he’s ready to drop anchor and find a home where he can stay for good. Captain Floof is currently on a Frosted Fling, spending time in a cozy home environment, where we’ll get to learn more about his personality. We received this great update from Captain Floof himself! "Hey- Captain Fluff here! July has been a hard month for me, but things are definitely looking up! I am on a FFF fling right now, and here’s what my foster mom says about me: ✅ I’m quiet and love my crate or any bed with a blanket since I love to burrow. ✅ I'm good with cats and friendly towards other dogs. ✅ I'm potty trained! ✅ I am a champ at going potty outside (no accidents) I slept 8 1/2 hours quietly! ✅ I take treats gently, and I sit down when I know you have some! ✅ I know that when people sit at a table there is often food involved, and I want to sit quietly by in case any falls my way! I do love food and I’m not picky. ✅ I like playing tug with a rope toy and have the cutest gargle-growl, but it’s all in fun! ✅ Did I mention I love belly rubs and pets on my face?! I’m enjoying the sun in the courtyard right now, so I think I’ll take a snooze! More later!"
