My story

Meet Poncho! Poncho may be in his golden years, but he’s still got plenty of love (and attitude!) to give. This mellow gentleman recently found himself in need of a new home, and now he’s looking for someone who appreciates the charm of a senior pup. Poncho enjoys short strolls, soft beds, and peace and quiet. He’s polite in small dog playgroups but prefers his personal space—think “neighborly coexistence” over puppy parties. Give him room and respect, and he’s happy to just do his own thing. He does come with a few health quirks—think of him as a well-seasoned classic with some vintage features. He’s got some dental issues, joint stiffness, and a few lumps and bumps, but none of that gets in the way of him being a loyal, easygoing companion. Poncho’s perfect day? A cozy nap, a sniff in the sunshine, and a calm presence by his side. Poncho is looking for a peaceful home where he can relax and be cherished for the dignified little dude he is. If you have a soft spot for seniors with spunk, come meet Poncho—you might just be his person. Poncho is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn more about him in a home setting.
