My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog I:5Sinatra is a 4-year-old, 66-pound shepsky. With his striking heterochromia and soulful presence, he turns heads effortlessly, but it’s his quiet sweetness that truly captivates. Shy and independent initially: When exploring new places or meeting new people, Sinatra starts off independently, sniffing and surveying the scene with curiosity. Affectionate after warming up: Once he feels comfortable, this charming guy is all in, rolling over for belly rubs, showing off sit and paw, and gently nudging your hand for more scritches. Polite & treat-motivated: He takes treats with a soft mouth and is easily redirected with a cue or reward whenever he pulls on a bit on a leash. Easy-going companion: Once quickly settled, Sinatra is just as happy sitting quietly beside you, watching the world pass by, his tail gently wagging at your side. Playgroup regular: In doggie playgroups, he enjoys a good game of chase with his canine friends, showing off his social, fun-loving side. He would do well with a well-matched dog buddy or as a solo star with canine friends for playdates.
