My story

Meet Auggie (aka Augie Doggie)! The happiest little guy around is ready to find his forever home! Auggie is a 4-month-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who was found as a stray and is now thriving in foster care. Currently about 35 lbs, he’s still growing and will likely be a big boy once fully grown. Auggie is goofy, smart, playful, and cuddly—the perfect mix of rough-and-tumble fun and sweet snuggles. He loves to play chase, wrestle with his dog friends, and do all the puppy things. He’s never met a stranger and adores both dogs and people. While he can be full of puppy energy, he’s respectful of adult dogs and works hard to follow their rules. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and older kids. Like many puppies his age, Auggie has the attention span of a gnat and is amazed by everything he sees, but his curiosity makes him all the more charming. Auggie is crate trained and making great progress on house training. He’s not neutered yet but will be prior to adoption. Due to his age and social nature, we’d love to see him go to a home with a playful resident dog to help continue his social development. If you're looking for a loyal, fun, and affectionate companion who will grow with you, Auggie is your guy! Adopters must live in Central Indiana, not more than 45 min from downtown Indy. For adoption info and application, please visit sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Auggie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
