My story

Meet Auggie (aka Augie Doggie)! The happiest little guy around is ready to find his forever home! Auggie is a 4-month-old Staffordshire Terrier mix who was found as a stray and is now thriving in foster care. Currently about 35 lbs, he’s still growing and will likely be a big boy once fully grown. Auggie is goofy, smart, playful, and cuddly—the perfect mix of rough-and-tumble fun and sweet snuggles. He loves to play chase, wrestle with his dog friends, and do all the classic puppy things. He’s never met a stranger and adores both dogs and people. While he can be full of puppy energy, he’s respectful of adult dogs and works hard to follow their rules. He’s great with other dogs, cats, and older kids, and his curiosity about the world makes everyday activities a fun adventure. Whether it’s chewing on a toy, playing tug of war, or exploring on a walk, Auggie is all in! He also loves car rides, naps, mealtime, and just being around his people. He’s the kind of pup who brings joy and silliness to everything he does. Auggie is crate trained and making great progress with house training. He’s not neutered yet but will be prior to adoption. Because he’s still young and very social, we’d love to see him join a home with a playful resident dog to help continue his positive social development.
