My story

Meet Bisbee, a 2-year-old Labrador mix with a goofy grin, a wagging tail, and a heart overflowing with love. Life hasn’t been easy for this sweet boy—found on the streets as a puppy, he faced hardship far too young. Bisbee was once adopted, but sadly, his family couldn’t provide the stability he needed, and as their circumstances changed, they heartbreakingly returned him to us. It absolutely shattered our hearts for this incredible boy who had already been through so much. At Sky Sanctuary, we believe that healing dogs isn’t just about mending their bodies—it’s about healing their hearts, too. Bisbee’s story is still being written—a story of resilience, growth, and second chances. He’s currently in a professional Board and Train program and he’s absolutely excelling! With each passing day, Bisbee continues to show us more of his potential. His confidence is blossoming, his anxiety is easing, and he’s proving just how smart, adaptable, and eager to please he truly is. Bisbee is impressing everyone with his progress and his sweet, silly spirit. He is playful, affectionate, and deeply deserving of a forever family who will cherish him and continue to nurture both his training and his emotional healing.
