My story

Ellie will be busted out of the shelter this weekend the 20th of July.. She will be going to a foster home in Zephyr Hills. Ellie is approx 4 yrs old.. She is very shy with other dogs and will try to back herself up in a corner, when approached by other dogs. With decompression, and exposure to other calm pups that are not in her face, she should be fine with other dogs. She will not tolerate pushy dogs in her face at this time and will try to flee. She is good with people and once she warms up to you, you can rubb her belly and she is very loving to people. She will come around in time to other dogs. In need of a patient loving family no small kids please and no boisterous dogs.. Fenced yard would be great also. Miss Ellie still needs to be spayed, and a rabies shot is needed. She is hw negative thankful for that!!! Will make a great companion dog if you can give her time to come around!! *07/23/25 update- Miss Ellie has been my foster for just about a week now. She is very shy and scared of sudden movements and is very slowly warming up to my primary animals. She is the sweetest thing and loves being right next to her human. She gives plenty of kisses to let you know she’s very grateful. Completely house trained!
