My story

  Don’t let his lack of sight fool you. Eye-saiah is a sweet, goofy boy who loves chasing toys, exploring tunnels, using his scratching post, and eating Churus like any other kitten. He relies on his other senses to navigate—as cute as it is impressive. Eye-saiah came to PAWS with eye issues and is now much more comfortable without them. He’s getting used to chilling in carriers and uses the litter box like a pro. When he hears you enter the room, he’ll trot over to greet you and may even pounce in your direction to ask for playtime. When not playing, he is a cuddly little guy, turning into a purr machine when getting pet. Eye-saiah has strong lap cat potential and would be a great match for someone who loves a good mix of play and cozy evenings on the couch. When in the mood, he lets you hold him like a baby. Eye-saiah would do best in a home with another cat playmate or as a single cat with an adopter who can give him enough time for play, training, and snuggle sessions. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals.
