My story

*Skipper will need REGULAR PROFESSIONAL GROOMING! We are preferring his adopter have experience owning a dog that requires this attention and monetary responsibility.* Meet our adorable little fluffy guy named Skipper! Skipper is about 2 years old and he came to our shelter after he was found roaming in town. He is a sweet little boy who loves getting attention from people. Skipper will make a family very happy. He is a cool little guy with lots of energy and a fun personality. He currently weighs about 12 lbs. Skipper has the type of coat that will need regular professional grooming. We are preferring his adopter have experience owning a dog that requires this attention and monetary responsibility. Skipper is good with other dogs and he can go to a home with kids 10 years old and older. If you are interested in adopting Skipper, Please Email us at Adopt@savingpawsct.org for an application! MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly. PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SPAM FOLDER! You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
