My story

Meet Turk, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois with a big heart, a brave soul, and a nose for squeaky toys! This handsome boy is full of potential and ready to find a patient, loving home where he can finally feel safe and seen. Turk is always eager to head out for adventures and he’s quick to leash up and even quicker to show you how excited he is to explore. While he`s strong and pulls on leash (he’s got places to be!), he’s got a sweet, thoughtful side too. Turk allows gentle petting but he can get a little stiff with touch, his body tells a story of a past that may not have always been kind. Despite this, he’s incredibly gentle with toys and he takes treats like a perfect gentleman. He enjoys ropes, squeaky toys, and tennis balls, especially if there’s a trusted human on the other end ready to play. With strangers, Turk starts off a bit unsure, but if you give him the time and respect he deserves, you`ll earn a loyal companion who will never leave your side. Turk is looking for a calm, dog-savvy home with adults or older teens (17+) who can help him continue to build trust and confidence.
