My story

Stacy is an active, smart, and affectionate pup with a heart as big as her love for cuddles. She’s the kind of dog who will happily snuggle right up to you (or on you) just to soak up some pets. Her joy is contagious, whether she’s hunting for squirrels, solving a breakfast puzzle toy, or nudging your hand for one more scratch behind the ears. She’s housetrained, crate-trained, and has already picked up “sit” and “down”—currently mastering “watch me” with enthusiasm. Stacy thrives on routine, structure, and connection. She does beautifully when left alone, whether she’s crated or free roaming, and she sleeps peacefully through the night. On walks, she’s excited and curious about the world. With a bit of continued training, she’ll be a great walking buddy for someone who loves being outdoors. Stacy hasn’t lived with other pets or kids in her foster home, and we’re still learning how she does with other dogs. A home that can facilitate gentle, structured introductions (and has some working breed experience) would be a great match. Her perfect day includes a morning walk, brain games or enrichment activities, sunbathing, squirrel watching, and plenty of snuggles with her favorite human. She’s incredibly intuitive, sweet-natured, and always looking to be close to her people. Ideal home: Stacy would love an active, loving home with a yard to explore and a human who enjoys training and bonding through learning. She could potentially live with another dog, depending on compatibility, but she’s equally happy being the star of the show. If you’re looking for a silly, sun-loving shadow with a ton of love to give, Stacy just might be your perfect match.
