Submit application to meet dog if interested - yes an application is required******** Olive is a 4-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi with the soul of a couch potato and the heart of a snuggler. This sweet girl is all about life’s little pleasures—sunbathing in a cozy spot, curling up between furniture (she lives for the space between the couch and ottoman), and soaking up all the pets and love you’re willing to give. A survivor of a puppy mill, Olive is still learning what it means to be a family dog, and she’s come a long way already. She’s making great progress with potty training and will thrive with continued consistency and positive reinforcement. She gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t mind high-energy companions, though she prefers to do her own thing when it comes to playtime. Olive is an independent spirit who blossoms with affection and patience. She’s still working on building confidence—especially with leashes and new environments—and prefers to explore new spaces at her own pace. Her ideal adopter will be kind, patient, and committed to helping her continue growing and trusting. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion with the most adorable short legs and an even bigger heart, Olive may be the one for you. Bonus points if your home comes equipped with an ottoman or a sunny spot to nap in! We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents. We are registered in NY State with the Dept of Agriculture RR #033 and a registered 501c3 Non-Profit.
