0870 Cyrus

My story

Cyrus is being fostered in Waukesha WI Meet the Bible Litter. This is Cyrus  He is a red tri standard Australian Shepherd with a tail! He and his littermates were born on May 30th 2025. They will be between 40-55 lbs full grown. We did not crop tails.  These babies came into rescue at 2 days old with their momma. We did get to meet the daddy and he was also a red tri 50lb Aussie with some cute freckles on his nose. Momma is a smaller girlie at 40lbs.  She is EXCELLENT with the babies and a great momma. She is also super sweet with everyone she meets.  These babies will be ready for their forever homes on or after July 30th. Cyrus is sweet, snuggly, curious and brave. He is doing GREAT on potty training and will need to stay on a schedule to continue to be successful.  Aussie pups need to be socialized with the world around them once adopted.  They need to be exposed to various types of stimuli and have already learned so much from being in their foster home.   If you have never had an Aussie or a working dog before, we recommend doing a little research before committing to this high energy working breed!  He will need a MINIMUM of 2-3 hours of exercise throughout the day.   Cyrus is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, is microchipped, dewormed and on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworm.  Proof of heartworm prevention for any current or previous pets is required to adopt from our organization.  For more information on our adoption process, please visit our website at www.MidwestAustralianShepherdRescue.org.
