Trixie

My story

Trixie came into the shelter as a stray, not chipped and no one has claimed her. The shelter has had applications for her but they want to place her with a knowledgeable Rottweiler owner. She is a high energy puppy who has a nice kennel presence.She is spunky and confident and thrives around people. She has no issues around men or women or children or dogs. She has not been cat tested. Staff have not seen any triggers that affect her. The shelter has not yet chipped her. She was given her a rabies vaccine on June 6. Distemper/ parvovirus given May 17. Last bordatella vaccine April 26. She tested heartworm negative on Apri. 30 and has not been given any preventative yet. Notes from evaluator: Trixie is very friendly and gentle and she knows sit and shake. She came right up to me and likes her treats. She clearly has never had any training but is treat-motivated and very trainable. She does not have resource guarding tendencies. Trixie is playful and you can take toys away from her. She will mouth the toy and bring it to you. Trixie will walk past other dogs in the kennels without a problem. Physically, she could use some weight as her ribs are showing and she is still growing. She has a healthy coat and her eyes are alert. She also has an expressive tail. Trixie is eager to be with people and explore. She is a very sweet girl who loves human contact and interaction. She is very bright and loving and seems to demonstrate very desirable traits as a canine companion.
