My story

Lightfoot, recently came into rescue. He is a Schnoodle. He weights about 12 - 15 pounds The Schnoodle, a crossbreed between a Schnauzer and a Poodle, is known for their lively, affectionate, and intelligent personality. These dogs are highly adaptable, making them excellent companions for various living situations, from apartments to larger homes. Schnoodles are people-oriented and thrive on human interaction, forming strong bonds with their families. They often inherit the Poodle’s eagerness to please and the Schnauzer’s alertness, making them both playful and protective. This blend of traits makes them a great choice for families, singles, and seniors alike. Affectionate: Loves spending time with family and thrives on attention. Intelligent: Quick learners, but can occasionally be stubborn. Energetic: Enjoys playtime, walks, and other activities. Adaptable: Suitable for apartments or larger homes. Protective: Alert and may act as a watchdog. Quiet: Generally not overly vocal but may bark at unfamiliar sights or sounds. Eager to Please: Responds well to training with positive reinforcement. Considered to be hypoallergenic. Lightfoot is crate trained, though he will bark a lot in the crate, he wants to be with people. Good with other dogs, cats and respectful children. Lightfoot is neutered, will be updating his vaccines, micro chip. He is housetrained as long as he gets out often. Located in southern Idaho transport is provided within the Pacific Northwest to approved home. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com for Lightfoot.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lightfoot, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
