My story

My name is Jax and as you can see, I am quit the handsome fellow. I am a retired model, from California. You know all that sun and fun was not for me. I am a little introverted and shy, so I had to give up all the glitz and glamour to live a more quiet and sedate life here in Ohio. I am pretty laid but will offer a quick chat from time to time. A bit of a stocky guy at just over a svelte 15 lbs (lol). Did I mention I played center on my high school football team? That’s how I lost a couple of my teeth, but not too worry, you will not notice them missing if I flash you my big pearly grin! A while back a had a bump in my ear (polyp). But just like my teeth, everything has healed up and I am ready for new adventures! I like to show you affection by lightly touch you or giving you very gentle kisses. Additionally, I will lay at the foot of the bed at night and keep a watchful eye over you and protect you. I have a very soft and soothing purr, at least my foster Meowmy says I do. I love being petted and once I get to know you, I will curl up in your arms. My purrfect home would be as the king of your castle. I would prefer to be the only kitty in your house. I can tolerate a dog as long as they realize I am the superior being and are calm and respectful of me and my space… and my food! I prefer to spend my days perched where I can watch out the window.  Maybe we can do that together? Or maybe at night I can hang over your shoulder and watch tv with you? I have the softest fur my foster Meowmy has ever felt.. and I do not even mind when she combs me. I have very good litter box habits too. I am available now for adoption.. in fact my kitty bags are packed so please contact Maine Coon Rescue at adoption@mainecoonrescue.net if you think I sound like the Cat’s Meow! My adoption fee is only a $150.00 and this includes spaying/neutering, FVRCP vaccination, rabies vaccination, combo test (neg/neg), dewormer, flea prevention, microchip, and wellness visit.   I am approximately 7 years young and located in Columbus, OH 43228. I can be adopted within a 100 mile radius of Columbus.
