My story

Who needs 4 legs when you can have THREE?! Meet Sparky! This 4 year old handsome man was transferred to us by a rescue group after he was run over by farming equipment, and unfortunately had to have his front left leg completely removed. He is officially 1+ week post-op and has been a champion at maneuvering around and truly embracing his new normal. We aren’t sure how he is with other dogs or kiddos yet since he has been recovering, but we do know he is calm (and a little scared, honestly!) in the presence of cats! His favorite thing in the entire world?! SNUGGLING! Your lap is quite literally his favorite place, ever. He is fully potty trained and likes to keep his space neat. He is shy around men due to his past, but once trust is earned it’s yours forever! Want to win his heart? Give him spray cheese!! He loves being cozy and is a very quiet resident.
