My story

Donna basically walked herself into the shelter-no GPS required.We're not even kidding. Donna was found wandering just a couple hundred feet from our building, and she was so friendly that one of our staff simply looped a leash around her and strolled her right through the front door. It was a brutally hot day, and Donna was panting hard-so we're extra thankful she found us when she did.At 3 years old and about 60lbs, Donna has clearly been through it. She was very obviously used for breeding, but those days are over. No more litters, no more neglect-just couch naps, belly rubs, and the good life from here on out.Donna is sweet, gentle, and doesn't seem too bothered by other dogs. She's ready to trade her old life in for one full of love, comfort, and people who see her as more than what she can give.
