My story

Hi, I’m Fergus! I’m a sweetheart who’s all about cuddles, kisses, and quality lap time. My foster family says I’m a calm and loving boy who makes life at home easy and fun.They also said that I’m housebroken, good on a leash, and I even like my crate. I’ve got a playful side, too—I love chew toys (but stuffed toys don’t stand a chance against me). I’m smart, food-motivated, and quick to pick up new commands. On walks, I’m eager to say hi to other dogs and people—I just love making friends!My foster family says I’ve been a joy to have around, and I’m ready to bring that same joy to my forever family. Could that be you? Ask my friends at the shelter how to meet me.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on “Foster Questionnaire.”Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We’ll see you soon at either location!
