My story

Adoptable Mick is a gentle old soul with a silky-soft coat, an affectionate heart, and a mellow demeanor that melts right into yours. At 12 years old and 6 pounds, Mick has been described as friendly, loving, and sweet—the kind of kitty who leans into kindness and offers soft head nudges and purrs in return.Mick came to BARCS through no fault of his own. In the shelter, he’s remained in good spirits, cozying up to staff and volunteers who’ve taken the time to show him care. He enjoys gentle head pets, gives the sweetest face kisses, and may just be a bit of a social snacker—especially when Temptations or Churu tubes are on the menu. With good litter habits and a heart full of love to give, Mick is ready to curl up in a quiet, caring home where he can soak up affection and settle into a soft, familiar rhythm once more.Has Mick caught your eye?
