My story

Wirt is the lap-napping champion of the bunch — if you're sitting down, there's a good chance he'll stretch out across your legs for a cozy snooze. He was the first of his siblings to settle in and feel at home, taking new surroundings in stride. Wirt is also the most patient with the resident dog, even when play is on the agenda. A nonstop biscuit-maker, Wirt’s gentle nature and affectionate heart make him an instant favorite. Requires another cat in the home: Yes, kittens always do better with a friend! It is fostered in a private home in Lincoln. The adoption fee is $150 (or $250 for two) which covers age appropriate vaccines and dewormings, a microchip, FIV/FeLV testing, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. We are 100% volunteer staffed and will respond to your email as soon as possible. After you have submitted an application and been approved, we will set up a meet and greet between you and the kitten/cat. Meet and greets are held virtually via Zoom and we offer a trial period to ensure your cat/kitten is a match.
