My story

This 3-year-old male tabby is as handsome as he is affectionate. With his striking good looks and gentle nature, McRib is ready to steal your heart. He loves his cave bed (he hopes his future home will have one, too!), attention, and being petted. His foster enjoyed her time with him, "McRib is the sweetest boy. He's on the shy side at first, but will come over for affection. As he's gotten more comfortable in my apartment, McRib sleeps in my bed. In the morning, when he's ready for breakfast, he'll gently nuzzle his head on my side and lay on my side or my back until I get up to feed him. He loves to lay on your stomach/chest if you're laying on the couch and loves to get pets, and absolutely loves getting brushed! He is so easygoing, keeping to himself in his bed (he loves a good fortress of solitude and feels safe in his bed under my couch), and coming out to curl up next to you for pets. He likes to look out the window occasionally. McRib has the cutest, quiet little meow. He enjoys playing with toys on a string when you dangle it around on the floor for him to chase, and the occasional mouse toy. He is the perfect cat and is the sweetest, easiest, loveliest companion." McRib is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and had preventative treatments to ensure he is ready for his new home. To meet McRib, visit the Best Friends New York Soho Lifesaving Center at 307 West Broadway, New York, NY, near Canal Street. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
