My story

Maddie’s DNA results are in! According to Wisdom Panel, she’s a mix of four breeds, with Bloodhound and German Shepherd as her top two. At 2 years old and 60 pounds, this sweet girl is ready to find her forever home. Maddie loves playing with other dogs and would do best in a home with a large, playful companion who matches her energetic play style. She is potty trained and kennel trained, though she’s not the biggest fan of her kennel, so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal. She’s a strong girl and needs an experienced adopter—she’s currently working with a trainer to improve her leash skills. Maddie adores every person she meets, but because of her size and strength, any children in the home should be at least 7 years old and steady on their feet. She would never knock a child over on purpose, but she doesn’t always realize how big she is. No cats! If you’re interested in adopting Maddie, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 2-4 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org      Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee      Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2088340##
