My story

About Otter Pop Otter Pop is a peek-a-boo prince who likes to take in the world before diving in. He got his name thanks to his signature move: popping his head up from behind a box, blanket, or corner just to check out what’s going on. He’s observant, gentle, and always quietly nearby—watching with wide eyes and a curious heart. Once he starts to feel at ease, Otter Pop warms up with soft play, slow blinks, and the occasional sneak-attack pounce on a toy. He’s not the type to rush into the spotlight, but he’s definitely the kind to stick close once he feels comfortable. Personality Highlights Expert Observer: Likes to take his time and check things out before joining the fun, but he’s always watching. Steady Explorer: Moves through new spaces and moments with quiet curiosity and care. Playful When Ready: Once the vibes are right, he’s quick with a playful paw and a surprising zoomie. Companion-Oriented: Feels most secure when he has a friendly cat buddy or calm human nearby. Loves Perching near the action Gentle play with wand toys Calm voices and soft spaces Cat companions who can show him the ropes Not a Fan Of Sudden surprises or fast-paced environments Feeling pressured—he prefers to make the first move Ideal Home Otter Pop would thrive in: A peaceful, loving home that lets him go at his own pace A family who celebrates quiet wins and small steps A household with another confident cat for support and companionship A cozy setup with spots to perch, hide, and peek Interested? Otter Pop is a gentle soul with a curious spark. He's sweet, observant, and always nearby, just waiting for the right moment to pop into your heart. He’s looking for someone who understands that connection grows in quiet moments and playful discovery. Set up a meet-and-greet and see if this peek-a-boo prince is your perfect match. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home. To meet this kitten, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. www.thedancingcat.org/adoptJuly 14, 2025, 11:57 am
