My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi. I’m Jaxson. Yes, with an x—because I’m extra. Let’s get one thing straight: I am huge. Like, almost-20-pounds-of-regal-majesty huge. I’m basically the feline version of a fluffy sumo wrestler—except much better looking, with my stunning black and white tabby coat and piercing eyes that say, “I run this house.”   Born on 8/11/2020, I’m a grown-up guy with strong opinions and a tender side I keep tucked away until I know I’m safe. When I first arrived at my foster home, I was terrified. And when I’m scared, I swat, I hiss, I bite. I’m not trying to be mean—I’m just a cat who needs time, space, and a human who really gets feline behavior. The kind of person who respects boundaries and knows that trust isn't given… it's earned (with lots of Poké Bowl wet food, ideally).   It took over a month for me to let my foster human pet me. But now? Oh baby, I love affection. Once I trust you, I’m all in. Chin scratches, pets, brushing (OMG BRUSHING )—it’s my love language. I’ll nuzzle, I’ll purr, I’ll stretch out like a big ol’ loaf of love right next to you. But just remember: you earn the cuddle, you don’t demand it.   I’ve got a few non-negotiables:   No other pets. I’ve never met any and frankly, I don’t want to. I want you all to myself.   Quiet home only. Loud noises and chaos? No thanks. I’m a peace-and-pampers kinda guy.   Super tall cat tree. I am KING OF HEIGHTS. I spend hours on my throne, judging birds and squirrels with majestic disapproval.   Litterbox? Impeccable. Just keep it clean and I’ll keep it classy.   Toys? Meh. Not really my vibe. But Poké Bowl wet food? That’s my addiction. That, and brushies. Sweet, sweet brushies.   So, if you’re cat-savvy, patient, and looking for a big, beautiful soul who will love you deeply (once you pass my vibe check), then I might just be your guy.   Apply to meet me. But only if you’re ready to worship me just a little. Love, Jaxson the MajesticVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
