Name: Pepper Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 15 weeks as of 7/14/25 DOB: 3/30/25 SEX: Male Weight: 4 lb 5oz as of 7/11/25 Coloring: Grey Tabby Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Because of his young age, Pepper will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period. We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Litter: Parsnip, Pineapple, Pepper Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Pepper , and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting one of my super cute siblings, too! What my Foster Says About Me: The P kittens are a wonderful bunch. They just arrived, and everything is a bit new and scary, so they started out hiding whenever a person came in the room, but they will come out if you sit down and stay still, which is a great start! They have already shifted to playing a good bit, and they have had various number of kids in with them already! I can walk in the room now and they don’t immediately bolt for a hidey hole. So far, Pepper is the bravest and most interested in getting some affection. I just left him curled up on the bed with our 10-year-old. Pineapple enjoys playing but has been less interested in being pet so far, though that is bound to change. Parsnip has been hiding a good deal, but she seems to enjoy being petted even while in her safe spaces. I anticipate she will get more adventurous as she settles in. They have not been very vocal, and they don’t seem terrified – just assessing the situation. I am sure with a little time and acclimation, they will be quite social! Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption. You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.
