Kirk - Courtesy

My story

In an effort to assist animals outside the GRASP system, we have posted the following as a courtesy. GRASP does not screen these animals and relies upon the information provided by the pet parent. GRASP has no knowledge of the pet's history (i.e. health, behavior, temperament, etc.). All responsibility falls with the pet parent with whom the animal resides. Posted: 7/13/25 Kirk was a stray/dump that showed up on Shane's property.  Shane was able to take Kirk in get him better, cleaned up, and ready to be in a home to stay safe and loved. We don't know how long Kirk was on his own, forced to survive the outdoors. Kirk is slow to warm up, which we don't blame him! He likes his space and will come to you on his own time. He's a very sweet cat, once he learns he can trust you and you grow a bond with you he's a great companion!
