My story

Hi there! My name's Marmalade. I'm the kind of cat who believes in the ancient feline philosophy that dignity comes from having all four paws firmly planted on solid ground. While I absolutely adore human company and will happily purr beside you, curl up nearby, or engage in delightful conversation, I'm just not built for the whole "scooping me up" thing. Think of me as wonderfully independent - I prefer to choose my own adventure when it comes to where I perch and how I navigate the world.Here's what you need to know about me:I'd do best meeting any kids before being adopted. I just want to be sure we're a good match. An adoption counselor can tell you more.I can be shy in new spaces. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things.
